About me
Zack Elisio, Ph.D., LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist, educator, and AAMFT Approved Supervisor with extensive experience in clinical practice, supervision, and training. He currently serves as a faculty member and clinician/supervisor, providing clinical education and consultation to therapists and multidisciplinary teams across Pennsylvania. Zack's work focuses on clinician preparedness, particularly in emotionally complex and traditionally undertrained areas such as grief, trauma, and crisis intervention. His research and teaching emphasize the role of self-efficacy, experiential learning, and systemic frameworks in developing competent and confident clinicians. He is also actively engaged in studying grief and loss, as well as appropriate self-disclosure. In his free time, Zack is usually fretting over a Phillies loss or spending time outdoors with his wife and daughter to escape the recent loss.
