About me
Ms. Vanity Hernandez is a current graduate student in the MA Clinical Psychology program at Penn State Harrisburg. A graduate of Hollins University, Ms. Hernandez earned her B.S. in psychology and focused much of her undergraduate research on Latin American children and families. She works as an ESL teacher at a local non-profit educational organization and aims to bridge the gap between immigrants and mental health resources. Ms. Hernandez is passionate about community-based outreach for immigrant adults and their children and how culturally informed approaches can decrease the stigma of mental illness within the Latine community.
