About me
Dr. Shannon Shoemaker is an assistant professor at Shippensburg University. She earned her BS in Psychology and M.Ed. in Counselor Education at Bridgewater State College and a doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from The Pennsylvania State University. She has over fifteen years of clinical experience in school systems, community counseling services, and working with adults, adolescents, and families. She currently focuses on couple’s work, relationship issues, sexual wellness, and infidelity. Dr. Shoemaker has presented at local, national, and international counseling conferences. She is a member of ACA, ACES, AARC, and is past-president of ACSSW and JCSSW Editor-in-Chief.
