About me
Robin S. Archer is an assistant professor of clinical mental Health counseling at Gannon University, where she serves as the Clinical Experiences Coordinator. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor with nearly two decades of clinical experience. Robin is an EMDRIA Certified Therapist and Approved Consultant-in-Training, and operates the private practice Mindful Paths, located in Edinboro and Titusville, Pennsylvania.
Her research interests include clinical supervision, trauma-informed and trauma-focused care, rural counseling, and suicide prevention and intervention. She serves on the Erie County Suicide Prevention Advisory Board and the PCA Government Relations Committee, and is co-chair of the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision Rural Interest Network. She also serves as an editorial board member of Wellness Counseling Quarterly, the official journal of the International Association for Wellness Counseling.
Robin is passionate about supporting counselors-in-training and practicing clinicians as they engage in research that strengthens and expands the counseling profession.
