About me
Nick Summa is the Clinical Director of Congruent Relationships, a group practice specializing in relational healing. He is dually licensed as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. His clinical work centers on serving the LGBTQ+ community, with particular attention to minority stress, identity development, and attachment trauma across the lifespan. In addition to his clinical practice, Nick provides attachment-oriented supervision and teaches graduate-level counseling students part time, integrating Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) with culturally responsive frameworks. He is passionate about helping clinicians adapt evidence-based models to meet the evolving relational challenges of contemporary counseling practice.
