About me
I received my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. During that time, I worked as a graduate assistant in the Department of Counseling and in an Autism Spectrum Support Lab. My role for the graduate assistantship at the Department of Counseling was to research articles, interview research candidates and clean transcripts from the collected data. In the Autism spectrum support Lab, my primary role was to execute coaching sessions that addressed concerns related to academic standing. The coaching sessions also included helping students work on their communication and time management skills, via worksheet and psychoeducation. Along with my work experience, I have also been a part of several conferences where I co-presented in educational sessions and roundtable discussions.
