Mei Miyatake is a master’s student at Gannon University and an international student from Japan, studying clinical mental health counseling with a strong passion for mental health advocacy. Her academic interests include parenting styles, attachment patterns, and trauma, with a particular focus on their intersection within mental health. With the advancement of AI, Miyatake has expanded her research to explore the relationship between humans and artificial intelligence, particularly its implications for mental health and interpersonal connection.
