About me
Dr. Megan A. Whitbeck is an Assistant Professor in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Graduate Program at the University of Scranton in the Department of Counseling and Human Services. Dr. Whitbeck has a PhD in Counseling and Counselor Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Central Florida. Her research includes the sustainability of helping professionals, empathy fatigue, instrument development, and severe and persistent mental illness.
