About me

Maheen Kiran Mukhtar is a first-year Master’s student in the Applied Clinical Psychology program at Penn State Harrisburg. She previously earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Syracuse University. She has experience working as a senior psychiatric technician in the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. Her current research and clinical interests are in developmental psychopathology, with an emphasis on children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental and eating disorders.
