About me
Meg Loceff is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) in Pennsylvania and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). Meg graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Greensburg with her Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She then went on to graduate school at Carlow University where she obtained her Master of Science in Professional Counseling. While attending Carlow University, she served as the president of Chi Epsilon Mu Chapter of Chi Sigma Iota Professional Counseling Honors Society. Meg is currently continuing her education at Duquesne University in the PhD Counselor Education and Supervision doctoral program as she works towards licensure. Meg also served as Vice President of Duquesne’s chapter of Chi Sigma Iota, Delta Upsilon. Meg is actively involved in the Pennsylvania Counseling Association’s Government Relations Legislative Outreach committee and Ethics committee. She is in the first cohort for Emerging Leaders for Pennsylvania Counseling Association. Meg has experience working in various levels of care such as inpatient hospitalization, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, outpatient, school-based, and residential treatment facilitates. Within these settings, she has provided counseling services to individuals of all ages as well as worked with a wide variety of diagnoses. Through her experiences in previous positions, she has developed unique skill sets that help her to provide quality care to her clients. One such skill that she has developed is American Sign Language, which developed her passion for working with the Deaf/Hard of Hearing population. She is also trained and has a certificate in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessed (EMDR) in which she utilizes with her clients. She also has a passion for working with the homeless community in Pittsburgh area at Light of Life Rescue Mission. Meg was awarded the Inspirational Change Agent: Student of the Year Award (2024) from Carlow University Master of Professional Counseling program.
