John O’Keefe is a master’s student at Franciscan University of Steubenville with a developing clinical interest in trauma, spirituality, and experiential therapies. As a former pilgrim on the Camino de Santiago, he witnessed firsthand the transformative impact of pilgrimage on individuals navigating grief, anxiety, and personal transition. His work explores how structured journeys can be integrated into counseling practice to support healing and growth.
