Elise Tate, MS, LAPC, is a professional counselor who provides psychotherapy to adolescents and adults. Her clinical work is grounded in psychodynamic theory and integrates attachment-based, relational, and systemic perspectives to support a deeper understanding of intrapersonal and interpersonal patterns. Her clinical experience spans inpatient hospital settings, schools, and mobile outreach services, which has deepened her commitment to accessible, community-based care. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and incorporates trauma-informed interventions to help clients process adverse experiences and foster emotional insight and integration.Elise is committed to the advancement of trauma-informed care and to critically examining the stigmatization of commonly pathologized mental health diagnoses.
