About me
Dana is a licensed mental health professional and a Certified Sex Therapist with a deeply personal connection to her work. As a breast cancer survivor and carrier of the BRCA2 gene, she brings a unique perspective to the intersection of oncology and intimacy. Her personal journey through diagnosis, mastectomy, and reconstruction informs her clinical approach to helping patients navigate their "new normal" after treatment. Dana founded the private practice Calm Pittsburgh in 2020, where she specializes in addressing the complex emotional and physical impacts of cancer on sexuality and self-image.
