About me
Courtney Dixon (she/her/hers) is a doctoral student at Penn State’s Counselor Education program as well as the lead clinic supervisor at the Dr. Edwin L. Herr Clinic. Courtney earned a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University in 2021, and she is a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland as well as a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania. Her research interests include the development of counselors-in-training, trauma, and trauma training for counseling students. On the rare occasion that Courtney is not working on her doctoral studies, you will typically find her dancing, working on a hobby art project, or playing a cozy video game.
