About me
Dr. Brittany Stallworth (she/her/hers) is an Adjunct Professor for the Professional Counseling program at Carlow University. She holds a PhD in Counseling Education and Supervision from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, where she also earned her master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has years of experience counseling children, adolescents, families, young adults, and traditional and non-traditional students. She uses culture, education, equality, empowerment, and self-exploration to help clients and students identify strengths and promote active change. She is a published clinician-scholar and presenter with expertise in multicultural counseling, supervision, outreach, and training future counselors. Her professional interests and expertise include young adult trauma, attachment, relationship issues, social justice, ethnic identity, racism/discrimination, intersectionality, first-generation college students, self-esteem, Black families, and Black fatherhood.
