About me
Sloan Ferron, MS, LAPC, NCC, is a doctoral student at Pennsylvania State University and a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor at Nickischer and Associates. With training in trauma-focused clinical mental health counseling, she blends Black feminist, liberatory, and community-driven practices to counseling and academic work. Her research interests include strengthening the skills of counseling students to facilitate both personal and client growth, advocating for systemic change, and building anti-racist communities.
