About me
Ashley Stewart is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor and Board Certified Music Therapist working in the Greater Philadelphia area. She has experience counseling children, adolescents, and adults across the lifespan in school-based and outpatient settings. Stewart has address clinical concerns of substance use, suicidal ideation, self-harm, family conflict, grief, domestic violence, social skills, and supporting individuals from marginalized communities. She grounds herself in creative arts approaches such as lyric analysis, music journaling, and instrumental play to expand upon traditional therapies. Stewart leads with compassion and understanding that people seek desire for connection. She adopts systemic, relational-cultural, and trauma-informed frameworks to her therapeutic practices to empower her clients towards more fulfilling lives. Stewart is working towards her LPC licensure and seeks to be dually certified clinician in mental health and substance use.
