This presentation will focus on the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on counselors. The benefits and risks of AI usage in clinical and personal settings will be discussed. Participants will engage in a discussion to come up with strategies to engage in cognitive activities that can help mitigate dependency on AI. The attendees will complete a fillable prompt with preferred strategies to engage and enhance cognitive skills in the AI era. Counselors can utilize this information to help clients, supervisees, and peers form strategies to balance AI consumption.
