Trauma in Transition: Displacement and Healing Among Refugees (1 CE)

Our presentation aims to recognize the experiences of refugee families and children, along with developing awareness of resources and finding ways to minimize and support communities being impacted. This presentation highlights the importance of these social justice issues for emerging counselors and counselors in the field through awareness of experiences of these communities, providing strategies to mitigate and cope on an individual and community level as well as an opportunity for establishing a sense of holistic care for the community through interactive discussions.
