This session presents findings from a qualitative study exploring school counseling graduates’ perspectives on their supervision experiences. Participants reflected on what supervisors understood well and what they wish supervisors had known about the realities of school counseling. Key themes include role ambiguity, stakeholder demands, and gaps between training and practice. Implications for counselor educators and supervisors will be discussed, along with practical strategies to better prepare and support future school counselors.
