It Takes a Campus: Building a Collaborative Model to Support Students with Disabilities

College students with disabilities often face greater academic distress, lower campus engagement, and limited social support compared to their peers. This roundtable will highlight the Student Disability Support Collaborative (SDSC), an initiative that trains counseling students to connect peers with psychosocial, academic, and career resources. Participants will explore strategies for building cross-campus partnerships, strengthening competencies in disability support, and expanding equitable services. The discussion will also review current outcomes and practical approaches for developing collaborative care models that improve student success, inclusion, and career readiness.
