58th Annual PCA Conference
Friday November 6, 2026 3:30pm - 4:30pm EST
In the clinical world, we are trained to be masters of the "before" and the "after"—the diagnosis and the discharge. We are asked to track treatment progress, always seeking forward progress. Yet, both clinicians and clients spend the majority of their transformative lives in the liminal space: the uncomfortable, often anxiety-inducing "in-between" where what worked no longer does and the ground is constantly shifting. For many of us, this space feels like burnout. It is characterized by transitional anxiety, a sense of "stuckness," and a nervous system that has forgotten how to simply be without a task to complete. This experiential session invites you to stop fighting the void and start resting within it.
