This session explores the integration of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) with Relational Cultural Theory to reimagine resourcing as a culturally responsive, socially just clinical practice. Participants will examine how traditional EMDR resourcing strategies can be expanded to account for power, positionality, and systemic oppression. The session will highlight ways to co-construct resources that are relational, culturally grounded, and responsive to clients’ lived experiences, particularly for marginalized populations. Attendees will gain practical tools for integrating equity-centered resourcing into EMDR phases of treatment while maintaining fidelity to evidence-based practice.
