Embracing Inquiry: Transforming Counselor Development Through Socratic Dialogue (1 CE)

This presentation aims to bring Socratic questioning to the forefront of clinical mental health counseling and position its use as a multidisciplinary tool to explore and expand competencies related to counseling practice, social and cultural diversity, and diagnostic processes. Participants will learn about Socratic questioning as it’s defined, the many ways it’s already implemented in counseling work, and discuss the implementation throughout clinical training programs.
