What it means to be a counselor is often difficult to grasp, and previously primarily been an academic endeavor. Adding their voices, Licensed Professional Counselors articulated what they believed defines being a counselor. In addition to discussing the study’s findings, the session will engage in a critical discussion about how these findings might compare to participants’ experiences, and what this might mean for the future of the profession.
