Creativity doesn’t disappear in the virtual classroom—but it does require intentional redesign. This session presents a practical model for designing and adapting a Creative Approaches to Counseling course for online delivery, grounded in Maker Therapy, MBSR, and expressive arts frameworks. Participants will explore three organizing principles for virtual creative course design and engage with activity spotlights across nine modalities: humor, visual art, writing, makerspace, music, movement, bibliotherapy, drama, and ecotherapy. Leave with an adaptable framework and ready-to-use activities for your own teaching context.
