Explore neurodiversity-affirming approaches to support individuals, including those with Autism, in achieving meaningful treatment goals. Learn practical strategies to reduce demand-related stress, minimize power struggles, and promote autonomy and overall well-being.

Participants will gain evidence-informed tools to confidently implement neurodiversity-affirming principles in clinical settings. The session integrates mindfulness-based interventions with key concepts from interpersonal neurobiology and polyvagal theory to support nervous system regulation and guide clinical decision-making.

Through case examples, experiential activities, and guided practice, attendees will develop trauma-responsive, practical strategies to enhance their clinical work.
