The preliminary information regarding this in-process mixed-methods study will offer attendees foundational information about why limiting and liberatory language is important when discussing the identities and experiences of counseling participants. The goals of the presentation are for attendees to analyze conscious language that liberates, to articulate the value of developing conscious language practices to facilitate their responsibilities and thus adhere to standards, and acquire readily operational conscious language development tools currently being used by professionals in the editing field and analyze the guides’ applicability to conversational language (Yin, 2024).
