58th Annual PCA Conference
Saturday November 7, 2026 2:30pm - 3:30pm EST
This experiential session introduces Polyvagal Theory through Polyvagal PLAY™ (Pause, Listen, Activate, Yield), a framework that uses breath, rhythm, sound, movement, and intentional play to support nervous system regulation in helping relationships. Participants don't just learn about co-regulation, they experience it. Through laughter yoga, rhythmic group practices, and guided reflection, this session demonstrates how cues of safety can be woven into everyday clinical and educational moments. Counselors, educators and students leave not just with knowledge, but with a felt sense of what regulation actually feels like, and how to help others access it.
