58th Annual PCA Conference
Friday November 6, 2026 2:15pm - 3:15pm EST
How can counselors help clients find harmony amidst the discord of life’s major transitions? This innovative "how-to" session explores the intersection of Music Therapy and Narrative Therapy, supercharged by modern Artificial Intelligence (AI). Participants will learn how to guide clients in "re-authoring" their life stories into powerful, professional-sounding song lyrics and music.
Through a live demonstration, we will navigate the creative journey from narrative dialogue to a fully realized musical track using an AI generator—demonstrating how this technology democratizes creative expression for clients regardless of their musical background. Attendees will leave with resources and strategies to help clients literally give voice to their journey of change and resilience.
