This session examines counselor impairment not simply as individual burnout, but as a disruption in professional identity integration shaped by systemic pressures. Drawing from research on impairment, professional identity development, and trauma-informed systems, participants will explore how counselor education, supervision, and leadership must evolve to support ethical, sustainable practice in an era of rapid change.
